KI BARAK SELEM ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SECOND SINGLE "KANDA PAT SARI" FEATURING NEW VOCALIST KRISNA TEJA

In an exciting development for fans of Balinese metal band KI BARAK SELEM, the group has officially announced the release of their second single, titled "KANDA PAT SARI." Following the success of their debut single in December 2023, the band is set to captivate audiences once again with their unique blend of distorted metal music infused with traditional Balinese Gamelan.

"Kanda Pat Sari" delves into the profound teachings of Sang Hyang Panca Maha Bhuta, exploring concepts of supernatural powers, kesidian, and kawisesan. The single is slated to be released in March 11th 2024, coinciding with the Balinese Hindu New Year, Nyepi Day, in the Caka Year 1946.

In a strategic move to enhance their sound and expand their artistic horizons, Ki Barak Selem welcomes Krisna Teja as their new vocalist. Known for his background as a spiritualist and his role as the vocalist/lyricist for REGICIDE, a prominent hardcore band from Bali, Krisna Teja brings a wealth of experience and a shared vision to the project. Teja's collaboration with band founder Putra Pande aims to deepen the thematic essence of Ki Barak Selem, focusing on "The Untold Mystical Secrets of the Land of the Gods."

With music composed, arranged, and produced by Putra Pande, and vocals by Krisna Teja, "Kanda Pat Sari" promises to deliver a unique and immersive musical experience that showcases the band's signature style. The single was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Time To Headbanging Homestudio in Denpasar, Bali since January 2024.
