Ki Barak Selem is a project band that tries to combine metal music which is dominated by pentatonic strains of Balinese folk gamelan as well as a mixture of Doom Metal and Atmospheric Metal genres, so it can be called the 'Balinese Mysticism Folk Metal' genre. The lyrical theme is about the mythology of Gods and Goddesses as well as ancient secret mystical teachings in Bali.
